Originally established in 1906, Spokane
Furniture Company became a landmark that would
weather the great depression and time. To many
it symbolizes free enterprise and locally owned
business.
One person who understands these values is
local entrepreneur and business owner, Zach
Ziegler. When Mr. Ziegler discovered that the
building his furniture store, Ziegler's Oak
Furniture, occupied had once been part of
Spokane's history, he could not rest. In 2004 his
furniture store was renamed and Spokane
Furniture Company was re-established in the very
building that had been built for it in 1906.
